Harassment and disrespect can have a serious and detrimental effect on the workplace. This workshop reviews the legal definition of sexual harassment and the Title VII law, and is designed to be a high-level overview of the law as it applies in all states. It also explores how unaddressed behaviors, attitudes and actions can potentially escalate into workplace violence. Participants will also learn what constitutes harassment, why employees have a hard time reporting it, and the mistakes managers frequently make when addressing issues of harassment and discrimination.
