We all have difficult or challenging times in our lives – this is normal and to be expected. But sometimes these external factors intrude on our ability to perform our jobs to the best of our ability. When an employee’s performance begins to erode in some way, often supervisors will try to ‘help’ the employee by looking the other way or not giving any consequences.
